Meadowland Journal
2000 – 2010
Project Concept
The project originated as a classic photographic survey of the Meadowland landscape. The images were of varying formats printed on 8x10 gelatin silver paper and organized chronologically. The project was later expanded in 2011 to include an exploration of multimedia possibilities.
The printed images were translated into a video piece where stillness was removed and time was added. Ambient sound and fleeting animation were used to create an altered viewer experience.
